About Attorney William C. Ferry
Bill Ferry started Ferry Legal in the fall of 2008, having just graduated law school into the depths of the Great Recession. With a folding table, a laptop, and some business cards, he began to build his law practice, one client at a time.
Over time the folding table was replaced by Steelcase furniture, IP phones, and comfortable chairs (lawyers do a lot of sitting!).
Bill's practice has evolved, over time, to serve two specific areas of law, held together by a common thread: Money and Paperwork. Whether it is Estate Planning and Probate law, or helping Small Businesses get up and running, Bill's role is to ensure that forethought is distilled into documentation and action.
Bill is a member of the West Shore Bar Association and the Lorain County Bar Association, where he is active in the Probate, Real Estate, and Business Law Sections, and the Admissions to the Bar committee.
Attorney Ferry earned his Juris Doctor at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He graduated magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University, where he double-majored in Economics and Political Science. Prior to his legal career, Bill was a banker, economic development officer, and founder of a computer-graphics business.
When he is not working, Bill can be found hiking in the Cuyahoga Valley or piloting his boat on Lake Erie. He plays bass in a classic rock cover band, and does woodworking as a winter-time hobby.
He lives in Bay Village with his wife, Amanda, and their two sons.
